Remind yourself, in whatever way is personally meaningful, that it is not in your best interest to reinforce thoughts and feelings of unworthiness. Even if you’ve already taken the bait and feel the familiar pull of self-denigration, marshall your intelligence, courage, and humor in order to turn the tide.
In a very few months, I have come to know you—to see you as you are. You are light. You are love, you are strength, you are forgiveness. In whatever ways you think you are falling short, I urge you to recognize and celebrate that in yourself which knows the truth of your holiness.
